Opening Hours

We operate morning and afternoon sessions between 9.00am - 3.00 pm; Monday to Friday. The sessions vary in length depending on if your child is funded or not. Children may join us at lunchtime by prior arrangement with the manager and may incur a cost of £3.50. Packed lunches are kept in the refrigerator during the morning if they do not contain an ice pack.

What to Wear

Some activities can be quite messy, please send your child in clothing that is comfortable and that they can manage by themselves when using the toilet.  We sell St. Sebastian’s sweatshirts and tee shirts embroidered with our logo.

Please provide a pump bag with their name on containing Velcro or slip on pumps as used in schools and spare clothing clearly named.

Collecting Children

Please inform us in writing if our child is to be collected by someone other than a parent or carer, and leave a contact number for them, forms are available with the signing in sheets each morning.

Disclaimer – please be aware of the low wall at the entrance to the hall.  St. Sebastian’s Pre-School is not responsible for children outside preschool hours, or under parental or carer control.

Complaints: Making concerns Known

A parent or carer who is uneasy about any aspect of our provision should first talk over any worries or anxieties with the manager. If this does not have a satisfactory outcome within a couple of weeks, or the problem recurs, the parent or carer should put their concerns or complaints in writing and request a meeting with preschool manager and the chairman of St. Sebastian’s Pre-School Committee and an agreed record of the discussion should be made.  If an agreement can not be reached, an external mediator, who is acceptable to both parties, can be invited to offer advice and suggest further ways to resolve the matter.  The address and telephone number of the official regulator is :
