What to wear
Remember some activities can be quite messy. Please send your child in comfortable clothes allowing them to manage themselves when using the toilet. Please send a bag with the children containing Velcro slips or pumps plus clearly marked spare clothing. We sell St. Sebastian’s sweatshirts (£10.00), T-shirts (£6.00) and book bags (£6.00) all embroidered with our logo.

Collecting children
Please inform us in writing if your child is to be collected by someone other than a parent, and leave a contact number for them. There are forms available for this purpose with the signing-in sheets each morning.

Disclaimer
Please be aware of the low wall at the entrance to the hall. St. Sebastian’s Pre-School is not responsible for children outside pre-school hours, or under parental or carer control.

Complaints: Making concerns known
Any parent or carer who is uneasy about any aspect of our provision should first talk over any worries with the manager. If this does not have a satisfactory outcome within a couple of weeks, or if the problem recurs, the parent or carer should put their concerns or complaints in writing. They should also request a meeting with the preschool manager and the chairperson of St. Sebastian’s Pre-School Committee, and an agreed record of the discussion should be made. If an agreement cannot be reached, an external mediator, acceptable to both parties, can be invited to offer advice and suggest further ways to resolve the matter. The official regulator is:
